Does the size of the molecule have anything to do with what moves across the cell membrane and what doesn’t?

What other factors impact movement of molecules?

Thanks in advance. Appreciate it.

As well all know, evolution is a VERY VERY slow process. Do you think its possible that the human body is still evolving and still changing. Seriously.....Look at the bodies of women especially 100 years ago, and then today. What do you guys think?

...tour guides of the "Cell Factory". What could the ribosomes be? For example mine the mitochondria is the air conditioner room, because that's where the cellular respiration takes place, you see what I'm doing? And I also can't think of anything for the Endoplasmic Reticulum to be. I put the nucleus as the activity director, since it controls the activities of the cell. The golgi apparatus as the mail office. And so on...so, I need some ideas for the ribosomes, and the endoplasmic reticulum. Thanks!

A drop of water on a non absorbant surface looks like a perfect circle. Why does it look this way? What would happen if a small amount of detergent was added?
This is a cohesion and adhesion lab, but I just can't see how it's related.
Thanks,
