well metabolism in the most general term means the breaking apart of different proteins/compounds through a chemical reaction eg glucose metabolism involves the breaking down of glucose into water and co2 . Metabolism may need energy (digestion) or release of energy (respiration or aerobic glucose metabolism)
Homeostasis on the other hand has to do with maintenance of a steady healthy state in the body for eg iron homeostasis is about maintaining proper Hb levels in the RBC

Homeostasis is the functionality that organisms have in balancing somewhat some circumstances in and probable of their on the spot proximity. as an occasion, if it gets too warm, human beings have their veins bypass closer to the floor of the floor so as that it somewhat is extra uncovered and subsequently cools down swifter. If an organism is purely too dehydrated, it drinks water. and so on. somewhat an organism attempting to maintain that is physique interior the comparable status. Metabolism is purely extracting potential from food, in spite of the organism eats. So the ameliorations? Metabolism is in regard to food and potential in easy terms. Homeostasis might properly be pH, might properly be hydration as i discussed above, and so on. that is unusual to study them by way of fact they don't seem to be comparable in any respect.

Metabolism includes all the reactions that build up and break down molecules in a cell. (The reactions that build molecules are called anabolism and the reactions that break molecules are catabolism. Add them all together and you get metabolism.)

Homeostasis is maintaining the balance in a cell or in an organism -- keeping it in balance with its environment.
