Does the size of the molecule have anything to do with what moves across the cell membrane and what doesn’t?

What other factors impact movement of molecules?

Thanks in advance. Appreciate it.

Yes, size does make a difference when we consider what molecules can cross the cell membrane. Other factors that affect this include the charge of the molecule and solubility in lipids.

i do think it does. The size of membrane very small. Only smaller size can go through. i can't remember the word but it is about the molecule move when there is a different in ion concentration ; to become equilibrium

the cell membrane for a eukaryote allows water to go threw it. it is a semipermeable membrane. enzymes allow molecules to go threw the membrane. size does not mater because cells can also take in larger molecules by engulfing them.
