There are all sorts of adaptations necessary. First we were probably somewhat adapted for being upright in trees as brachiators. The head needs to sit on top of the head with the spine connecting underneath. You need sophisticated balancing and an inner ear that detects motion. A curved spine was mentioned. An expanded pelvis to help hold the intestines. Stronger connective tissue to hold in the gut, lungs and heart. New sets of muscles to power the normally awkward way of walking. Obviously the legs and feet need to be adjusted and probably the shoulders and arms to help balance.
