yeah for example this technology would allow a marred couple wanting a baby, for instance, to choose the hair color, skin color, factions etc... of their child. so if the mother wanted the baby girl to be miss universe she would just have to choose the most atractive features to add them to the fetus or sperm cells DNA. and of course this is under the cloning topic i think. but i need the particular name to this technology.

As far as I know every species has stayed the same species as far as any of us have observed. If the theory of evolution is science then we have to be able to test and observe it. If we have observed macroevolution happening in real life then where?

People keep telling me that irreducible complexity is absolute proof we did not evolve. I don't think this is true. They often use the example of the flagellum motor and the mouse trap. If anyone is familiar with these concepts and can give me some information as to why it does not disprove evolution, it would be greatly appreciated! thank you!

hey guys im back to bug you all with one more question that has seemed to of stumped me yet again.
Here it is

"Natural selection is an editing mechanism rather than an inventive process"

What the heck does that mean? Now i do know what natural selection is but i dont get the other parts to the quote.

Heres part 2 of my question

Is evolution through adaptation the only possible path for a species? In other words, are all species “guaranteed” to evolve?

Any help? Last question for today i promise! Thanks!

Let me first say that I a Christian and believe in creation. However, I pose a serious question.

If evolution is true, then at one point a pair of animals with "exact" DNA had to be in the same place at the same time and be able to procreate. Right? I say exact because humans share 98% or some similar percentage with primates and together we cannot procreate.

Therefore, this is what bothers me about evolution and I would like it explained to me. At one point, organisms changed from cell division to sexual reproduction. Two of these organisms had to be in the same place on earth, as well as at an age of reproduction, and able to procreate.
Have I missed the point of evolution? I am asking for open and educated debate. We could quote Genesis, but lets not. Use logic to discuss this, otherwise it might go down hill fast.
Please respond.

Most of the answers on my previous questions simply stated the inferiority of my imagination, the ridiculousness of my need to be a mental follower and the aggravating assumption that i should convert to evolutionism because it's smarter than believing in a higher power that created all things. What I suggested by not using timelines, is this: i don't discredit timelines...i simply believe that different life forms could have been CREATED at different times during the history of life and that the time period that they stomped this earth doesn't discredit creation or prove evolution. It’s true that life-forms are constantly evolving, in a sense, but it is also logical that they were CREATED inferior to modern life-forms. i also believe that instead of previous creations being considered "first drafts", they were simply "earlier creations".
