Judging by the amount of brain that is occupied with cells dealing with the imput from each sensory organ, humans are primarily visual. People seem to be able to survive the best lacking smell, rather than one of the other senses.

Not entirely sure but I do know that if one of your senses is non existent that your other senses are a lot stronger than in people that have all 5 senses. For example a blind person has an extremely strong sense of smell.

All primates, including us are more strongly visual than most animals...so thats the main one...as a result our sense of smell has dimished (having said that, people have found out that smell has one of the strongest memory responses, even to people in comas!!)...and without smell, taste is not so good....but I would hate to chose one of these....I guess eating without either taste or smell would not be enjoyable, BUT I would say its not as life or death as sight, sound or feel...take your pick.

I think most everyone is very visual, but personally, my sense of smell is EXTREMELY strong and sensitive. I can smell things that others can't smell or haven't yet smelled.
