As a pharmaceutical sciences student, i hope i could help you.
Pharmacology is the study of "what the drug does to the body or system"
It has two main divisions -
* Pharmacodynamics - which deals with the desired effects of the drug, suppose an antihypertensive drug causing a reduction in blood pressure levels..
* Toxicology - which deals with the undesired effects of the drug, due to inter and intrasubject variations, disease conditions of the patient(like liver disorder, kidney failure, etc.), drug- drug interaction(when two incompatible drugs are prescribed at the same time), drug- food interaction, overdose problems, etc.
There is yet another branch of pharma that deals with "what the body does to the drug" , including details about the rate at which the drug is digested by the body. In scientific terms, it is the study of "ADME"-Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Excretion of the drug.. this branch is termed as Pharmacokinetics.
Biopharmaceutics is the branch encompassing pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
Pharmacogenomics and pharmacogenetics are two further aspects of pharmaceutical studies.. Explaining in the simplest terms,
PharmacoGENOMICS - is what the drug can change in the gene structure of an individual.. like mutation, mostly adverse reactions.. now it has been exploited to targeting the specific genes for therapy.
PharmacoGENETICS - is how the gene constitution of a person(varies with each person) affects the way in which a drug produces a result,.. like ethnic differences result in different degrees of responses from the same drug, same dose..
Cleared your doubt?
You can ask any help regarding pharma sciences to me, i could help u.
Regards.

pharmacology
branch of medicine that deals with the interaction of drugs with the systems and processes of living animals, in particular, the mechanisms of drug action as well as the therapeutic and other uses of the drug.
Pharmacognosy,
a branch of pharmacology, deals with the biological, biochemical, and physical characteristics of natural drugs. ...
Pharmacokinetics,
another subdivision of pharmacology, is concerned with the action of a drug in the body over a period of time, including how the body absorbs, distributes, transforms or metabolizes, and excretes the drug.
Toxicology
is the branch of pharmacology that deals with the adverse effects of drugs and of potentially poisonous chemicals found in the home, workplace, or elsewhere in the environment. All drugs have some toxic effects, though the effects are often minor. Some persons, however, may be affected more than others.

there is a huge varition in sciences that deal with drugs and their effects on human beings and animals.
basically its pharmacology, however ; this may also include:
pharmacogenetics - genetic basis of drug response,,basically dealing with inherited traits and ethnic diffences,,
1.differences in a drug receptor ie pharmacodynamics
2.differences in a drug metabolism ie pharmacokinetics.
wherin pharmacogenomics deals with non inherited traits that alter drug response or leads to a disease.
