According to plate tectonic theory....

The theory of uniformity is well supported.

Pangea formed of end the age of dinosaurs. (Even tho I don't think they exist per se how archaeologists illustrate them.)

Uniformity applies only to crustal plates.

Gondwana included present-day Antartica.

I know with 4%, it is hypertonic and plasmolysis occurs (so cell shrinks (?)). With 0.4%, it is hypotonic and the cell ____(shrinks/expands)? 4M causes the cell to expand and plasmolysis also occurs.
But what about 0.4M NaCl being added to the elodea cell? Is it hypotonic or hypertonic? And what shape changes occur? It's got me stumped.
Thanks!
