Well, we know that every living thing has something called DNA in the nucleus. A human being has DNA, so does an apple. I just wonder what happens to DNA of the apple when we eat it. Does it become a part of us, or our DNA or what?

I know, this question sounds very stupid, but just wondering...

Evolutionary theory states that higher level lifeforms evolved from lower life forms through time and genetic mutations. It is accepted that humans evolved from some lower primate.

Now here are the questions...

1) Did the different major human groups (Caucasian, Africans, Aborigine, Mongoloid, etc), evolve from the same primate line? Or different primates? In a very simplistic, and I think inaccurate way of asking this question: Did Caucasions come from one kind of monkey, black Africans from another, Aborigine's from a third and so on?

2) If the answer to the above is true, then does this mean that one people group is more highly evolved than another?

I think that if you are intellectually honest with yourself, then and you believe evolutionary teachings, then you'd have to assume that both of these statements are true. And this is why Evolutionary teachings are perfectly in tune with racism. Even Hitler used evolutionary teachings to convince his Arian nation to kill Jews.

wx in nonwaxy versus waxy seeds, and Sh and sh in plump versus shrunken seeds. When plants grown from seeds heterozygous for each of these pairs of alleles were testcrossed, the progeny were as follows.

colorless, nonwaxy, shrunken 84
colorless, nonwaxy, plump 974
colorless, waxy, shrunken 20
colorless, waxy, plump 2349
colored, waxy, shrunken 951
colored, waxy, plump 99
colored, nonwaxy, shrunken 2216
colored, nonwaxy, plump 15

Determine: a) the genotype of the heterozygous parent, b) the order of the three genes, c) the genetic distance between each gene and d) calculate interference.

Well, the big question many people ask is "Are we descendants from monkeys or did God created the entire universe".

Its a question that for many people will never be asnwered completely.

I think God created us. For me to believe that everything was created due to an explosion it's just crazy. Think about it, everything we are, our super awsome body, water, everything we need to live. Do you think all the previous things were created with just an explosion. I think not.

The earth floats in space, it rotates, now think what's outside the space. Is it indefinitive or is there an end to it. If people believe in all these extraordinary things why can't they believe that a greater Being created us.

When Darwin first came up with his findings about humans coming from monkeys, many people felt being stripped from their dignity.

My question is: How can we as people with our ability to reproduce, heal, work, and adapt, etc. Be a product of an explosion? How can life be created out of nothing.

That is why ladies and gentlemen that I believe God exists.

I seemed to read way too deep into this question on one of my quizzes, and got marked wrong for this. I'm thinking about writing an essay about it if i'm actually right.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~****The question was: The elements responsible for accurate color vision are: (A. Cones) (B. Rods) (C. Photosensitive pigments)
(D. A & C) (E. All of the above) ---- {Correct answer is "D," however I think it is "E."}****~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~With that being said, I know that color is processed with the Cones and Photosensitive Pigments, however, without the use of Rods, I didn't think it was possible to view colors accurately, or even at all, because light would not be processed through without the "Rods." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another reasoning behind this is I've never heard of someone being "Black, grey or white" blind, and being able to see color. I've only heard of someone being color blind.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Please reference any websites so I can research also!
