Well, the big question many people ask is "Are we descendants from monkeys or did God created the entire universe".

Its a question that for many people will never be asnwered completely.

I think God created us. For me to believe that everything was created due to an explosion it's just crazy. Think about it, everything we are, our super awsome body, water, everything we need to live. Do you think all the previous things were created with just an explosion. I think not.

The earth floats in space, it rotates, now think what's outside the space. Is it indefinitive or is there an end to it. If people believe in all these extraordinary things why can't they believe that a greater Being created us.

When Darwin first came up with his findings about humans coming from monkeys, many people felt being stripped from their dignity.

My question is: How can we as people with our ability to reproduce, heal, work, and adapt, etc. Be a product of an explosion? How can life be created out of nothing.

That is why ladies and gentlemen that I believe God exists.

Every fossil, every observation in biology points to evolution. There is nothing that goes against it or points to a different way to scientifically explain modern diversity. There is not one fossil or one piece of DNA that does NOT point to evolution. It would be hard NOT to see the concrete evidence, and only those blinded by faith can do this.

Evolution is 100% world-wide accepted fact, including the evolution of man.

There is ZERO evidence for a higher being causing anything. This is why people who are religious need faith, you can't see or study the actions of a deity, by definition. Evolution has ZERO faith and ALL evidence.

Scientists (real ones) have been studying and supporting evolution for over 150 years, and still nothing has pointed to creationism. There is clear links and transitional forms between everything in the fossil record to the Class-Family level, if not Genus-Species level. And this includes humans, which there are several 'missing links' which are well described and studied, people just choose to ignore this. Sure, there are still things we don't know, but that's why science is not stagnent and dead. We learn more every day, that's what happens when you keep an open mind and follow the scientific method.

There are some areas of evolution in which all of the pieces have not been found in the fossil record, but there is no counter theory that has even ONE piece of evidence that can not easily be explained by evolution.

Let me turn the question around, if Creationism was correct and science could definitively prove Creationism (and thus the existence of God), why would they not? That would be the greatest scientific discovery in the history of the world. No one would pass that up to maintain the 'status quo'. There is no conspiracy to hide creation evidence. Anyone who knows real scientists knows they are glory-mongers first. They love to prove others wrong to enhance their own standing. And if any scientist could prove Creation/God, it would've been done a long time ago.

Go to a museum, take a class in biology, go to reputable sites on the Internet (like AAAS: http://www.aaas.org/news/press_room/evolution or http://www.talkorigins.org ) and find out for yourself.

Wow, you really need to read up on evolution. The theory of evolution at no time refers to an explosion. You might be referring to the Big Bang theory which of course is a theory about the origins of the universe. It is not the origins of life.

Also, you may be suprised to know that evolution does not say people descended from monkeys. Monkeys and man share a common ancestor.

You are giving absolutely no evidence to support your theory. You offer a site and I looked at it but it covered more than just evolution and creationism. Could you provide links to the relevant pages that provide your evidence that the universe was created by a god of some sort?

Your reasoning is confusing. You believe in a god because people are alive. No other evidence? Just that? You could believe that aliens seeded the earth based on that same assumption. You need to provide evidence of a god creating earth in order for you to convince people to change to your beliefs. Once you have the evidence then you can work on calling your beliefs a theory.

On the other hand, there are tons of evidence of evolution. Fossil record alone contains millions of pieces of evidence. It is funny. People pay attention to a geologist when he/she is paid to find oil or to determine earthquake zones or to locate where the best place for a water well should be. Yet, when a geologist talks of the earth being billions of years old, people will suddenly talk of how geologists have no idea what they are talking about.

More evidence for evolution comes from the study of genes and the study of anatomy. More evidence comes forth to support it every day. Pick up a science book and learn a little. Lets leave the dark ages behind us.

A good starting place is wiki.

As other people are saying, PLEASE read more about evolution. You really don't understand it very well. And that may be the reason you find it inconceivable.

First, separate the "explosion" theory (the Big Bang) from evolution. They are two *completely* different questions. One is about the origin of the universe. The other is about the current diversity of life on this planet. Either one could be absolutely false while the other is absolutely true. They are NOT connected.

Second, Darwin did NOT say that humans came from monkeys. Period. He never said that. No scientist believes that.

Third, neither of these theories (the Big Bang, or evolution) say that God does not exist. It is not an either/or question. You can believe in God and also believe in evolution (and/or the Big Bang).

Somebody is feeding you terrible misinformation. PLEASE read more things by people (preferably scientists) who are NOT creationists. At least they will explain things accurately, and *then* you can make up your mind.

In fact, the web link you posted doesn't look bad (I've just looked at it briefly). Did you actually read it? I found this quote from Francisco Ayala on the site: "I conclude that Darwin's theory of evolution and explanation of design does not include or exclude considerations of divine action in the world any more than astronomy, geology, physics, or chemistry do."

You are obviously undereducated. "Are we descendants from monkeys...?" That is a ridiculous question. Of course we are not descended from monkeys. Monkeys are present day creatures. If you will study the subject of evolution, you will find that no one actually thinks that man descended from monkeys.... Man did not descend from ape; man and ape descended from a common primate ancestor. If you believed everything you read in the bible, you would believe that the earth is flat and that the entire universe revolves around it. The Bible was written by men; not God. We would be very arrogant to think that we are the only intelligent beings in the universe.

belief has nothing to do with truth, so you believe what you want, but of course your beliefs and the facts do not intersect
