i think that we all have the same amount of taste buds, but we each have different ones and in different spots on our tongue and so therefore we like different things.

It's just personal choice. Everything should taste pretty much the same to everyone, some people like the taste, some don't. It's like if you go shopping and you and a friend look at a shirt. You both see the same thing, but one of you could love it and the other hate it.

yes we all have the same taste buds but each person's mind is different from each other. we may taste the flavor from opur tongue but it's the brain that interprets whether we like it or not

There are super-tasters, we are exposed to different food in the womb, by nursing mothers, in our regular diet, tastes change as we get older, children and elderly like sweets, adults like bitter, etc...

when talking about economics, we give measurements to people called utility...which means the measurement of pleasure someone gets of consuming of an item or service. so everyone is going to have a different measure of utility because everything will always satisfy someone differently than soemone else...hope that helps

cultural influences, religion, interests, but i think we like to go for whats safe..something we've either tried eating before or places we've been to before thats good..and sticking to just that.
