I love animals especially primates and I would love to study orangutans and perhaps help save them from extinction.
I don't think there is a degree for primatology and I think you need to become a biologist or naturalist or something before you can specialize in primates. Is this true?
I am currently in grade 8 in australia.

I'm sure that this issue may have been raised in a few classrooms. You are the teacher trying to teach evolution, and a few students want to bring up what they've been taught. How do you teach the subject with to them, while being respectful of their beliefs, and having them understand that what you're teaching is important?

Ant body parts are designed for their size. They look spindly because of the ratio of body mass to cross sectional area is low. Coz we are bigger, we need more cross sectional area to support our mass.

So, if an ant can carry say 5 times its body weight, then if we were shrunk down to ant size (but our body proportions remained the same), how many times our own body weight could we lift?

I've heard a lot of talk about buffalo wings in restaurants.
What's going on? I don't want to live in a world where buffaloes have wings and can fly into my bedroom at night. I'm scared.

Hypothesize why the pores in the cell membrane are different sizes?

Do you think cells could survive without diffusion? Explain why or why not.

Diffusion = the movement of molecules from an area of high concentration on an area of lower concentration

Or other organism (excluding humans) or even a fossil.

I was thinking of what organism you would put on a sign, symbol, flag, stamp, coaster etc. to represent the wildlife of your region.

Specify where you live, of course.

Why is childbirth so painful - why didn't we evolve to have a more pain free childbirth as you'd think that women who'd already experienced painfree childbirth would be more likely to have more children and vice versa. If there hasn't been time for this kind of evolution to occur because of the recent introduction of birth control do you think it will happen in the future?
