Mystic point of view.. you are right... great power comes with great responsibilities.. kekeke..

Scientific point of view is different. It could be your skin problem which is dry and the element contents makes up a simple capacitor which store up some electric current. Eventually when you touch your friend you may feel as there is a current pass through because your friend is somehow the potential is different from you and act as the EARTH point.

Often the case if you want to solve your problem , you may apply cream to your hands and make the skins damped.

Try if you want, touch your friend while you both of your leg is on the earth. I believe you won't get any electric shock.

Well, in your special case, i do believe if you hold the MultiMeter, and put it to the resistance test. Your ohm value could be lower... kekeke
