annoy you haveing to change the time on the microwave, the clocks around the house, the video recorder,watches etc;;;;

I just visited the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. They had models of all the planets in our solar system, and they were all nearly perfectly round. The tour guides said that they really are shaped that way, but could not adequately explain why. When I saw pictures of the asteroid belt, it showed many different shapes, so it just doesn't make sense that the planets are round balls, regardless of their size, and asteroids are not.

Now astronomer James Head's higher resolution models demonstrate that collisions making craters only three kilometers across can jettison 10 million fragments, each about 10 entimeters across, into space, a distribution sufficient to cause some of them to be found on Earith. Sections of the planet covered by debris(thius likely to be made up of older terrain) would require larger and hence rarer impacts, and thus meteorites which reach Earth are predictably biased toward younger ages.
