I was trying to figure out how to produce magnetized material that would behave much stronger than normal magnet. I am guessing it could be metal of perfect mineral structure and high density – some kind of “diamond” among metal materials. As I know it is still easier to find and mine diamonds than produce them, so I tried to find an origin place of such new mineral. It couldnt be the earth surface, where even diamonds are rare. This new kind of metal must reguire diffrent enviroment... much stronger preasurre but not such high temperature like under Earth surface. So why not Mars?

Universe space with no gravity rather sounds as expedition full of disadvantages and problems dificult to solve out, but for me it isnt bad idea. Colonies in space will give you new advance in gardening, metalurgy, travel, medicine and exploration. Plants will evolve to use their life power to create more nutrients in place of need of solid structure, size and aditional organs needed in gravity and in Earth ecosystems. Space metalurgy will compete efficiently with nanotechnology, because in space molecules have behaviour free from gravity, what will give posibility of full magnetic control and diffrent fraction of alloy ingredients. Centrifugal force has bright future in space travels, because it is the most efficient propulsion in space enviroment as far I know. Space colonizing with it is specifical feature, new plants, new branches in human evolution and wider knowledge will give you wisdom of medicine you only dream about for now.

I don't but lately there has been tons of reports about seeing them. I believe there is life on another planet, but I don't believe that they come to hunt us down.

Then why is this question hurting my brain?
When we look at very distant stars, are we looking back in time?
Since we are using light year to measure the distance b/n objects in space, when we look at stars, the light that is hitting us now must have started from the stars long time a go that means the stars appears how they looked like some time ago when the light was emitted from it, right?
Ok in other example, Alpha Century, the closes star to earth is 3 light years away right? Does that mean the light we see from it now, left the star 3 years a go? So if the star was destroyed or gone from it is position, with in this time, we wouldn’t know right?
Am I making things complicated? Or do you get my point?

For example; lets say a planet at the same distance from the sun as Neptune could have enough geothermal heat to make the air temperature warm in spite of how far it is from the sun. Could this be possible somewhere in the universe? Or could there be another scenario in which a planet is able to keep warm and harbor life in spite of being so far away from the sun.

Say telescopes eventually find an Earth-like planet at Alpha Centauri or another nearby star.

Probably the first engineers will find a way to make 1% lightspeed possible, decide it's enough, and put people on a centuries-long trip in suspended animation.

Later, progressively faster and faster ships will pass them, and they can't do anything because it takes months to slow down and doing anything to catch them at that relative speed will vaporize them both.

So the first dudes will reach a fully formed civilization while the last ones have to do all the hard work. Weird eh?
