None of my friends or family believe me. They all keep saying I should lay off the acid, whatever that means. I was wandering around a corn field when I saw a flying saucer. I was then sucked up into the ship where they ran numerous blood test. Contrary to popular belief there was no anal probe. I am just wondering if there is a way to get people to believe me. The aliens looked like blobs of white light just glowing and floating around.

My astronomy teacher gave us an assignment to find a good time to observe the phases of the moon. We have from 11/20 until 12/4 to do this project and I think I picked a time after the moon already set.... meaning I won't be able to observe it. So could someone give me a right time to observe the moon between yesterday and december 4th? I picked 6:30PM initially. I know today was a new moon and I wouldn't be able to see it anyway but when the moon actually appears lit up, will I have the right time to observe it at? (The moon must be observed at ONE time for the entire 2 weeks of its waxing.) If not, someone give me the right time please.

I've been looking around for a telescope but not sure what exactly I should be looking for. I don't want to spend a lot ($200-$300 max) but I'd like something worth while.

Any suggestions on a good telescope for a beginner? What are some key elements of the telescope I should look for?

I want to get one, but dont want it to be too expensive because im not sure how long i will be interested in it. lol thats the truth, once I get something in my head its all good, but I will probably get bored of it. But whoknows?

I just want to know what kind you would reccomend? I want one that will work good. If you have names of the tele and how much it cost that will be great

How can a black hole suck in light if gravity has no effect on light since its just energy? And is there such things as a white hole?

When you see in papers advertisements to own a piece of the moon, then are given a certificate to prove it, who actually owns the moon and decides who gets what? What happens to the money if people are silly enough to pay??

Suppose a spaceship is moving at 0.993c. How many times slower does the spaceship's clock appear to be running than a "stationary" clock? I have to use the Lorentz factor somehow...
