My astronomy teacher gave us an assignment to find a good time to observe the phases of the moon. We have from 11/20 until 12/4 to do this project and I think I picked a time after the moon already set.... meaning I won't be able to observe it. So could someone give me a right time to observe the moon between yesterday and december 4th? I picked 6:30PM initially. I know today was a new moon and I wouldn't be able to see it anyway but when the moon actually appears lit up, will I have the right time to observe it at? (The moon must be observed at ONE time for the entire 2 weeks of its waxing.) If not, someone give me the right time please.
