Why do people support this theory as the true beginging of the Universe? It's not even a theory for "How The Universe Was Created" its a theory for why its expanding. The Big Bang is: the universe was at one time a super-commpressed speck then, randomly, it exploded into the universe. THat doesn't even make sense, besides where did the speck come from?!? things dont randomly explode
--Newton's three laws of motion
and matter does not randomly apear
--Three laws of Thermodynamics
Do people believe in it simply it is the only theory that the 'scientific community' has come up with?

I ask because I read this and saw a show (NOVA or something like that) where this scientist made that very statement.
I think it must be wrong, for this reason:

no matter how far you count you will run into the number 3 only one time! You will encounter the digt 3 often, but the number 3 only once, so, if anything, math would lend itself to showing that we ARE the only planet with life.

what is your take?

I'm not against discovery, but when the government is funding the project, I have to ask myself how it benefits humanity. How does spending money to explore a new world help humanity when we don't even know everything about our own world. I would rather see the funding go into genetics. I'm sure there are a few government funded programs that or useless, do you think it would be better to cut the funding to programs that benefit humanity less and put it towards solving some real problems we face?

Someone told me that the sun shines through leaves, which act like filters, and makes a separate impression or "dabble" for every leave, that is seen on the ground. He also told me that during a solar eclipse he saw all these "dabbles" all showing eclipses.

Has anyone heard of this?

I'm 60 so I watched as John Glen took off for space, I watch as the first men walked on the moon. I have seen numerous picture from space that were taken by the hubble telelscope. In everone of these picture, there are no stars. Why. If we see them from earth, shoulden't we see them from the moon or other parts of sapce? This has confused me since I first saw any picture from sapce. Even the pictures from Mars...no stars...any answers?

that countries should now really get together, stop fighting; then aim to colonise other planets together?

The cost of Wars are in the way of our Future!

Global Warming, or a massive catastrophy, may engulf our planet.
The warning signs are all there! Naturally and Scientifically!

so what is there to fight for?

As there will be nothing left... Unless we get together!

How do You think?

If anybody wants to stay and fight amoungst themselves over the last of the world resourses, let them stay...

WE will all go! Or our children will if not us!

tell me your views please!
