Someone told me that the sun shines through leaves, which act like filters, and makes a separate impression or "dabble" for every leave, that is seen on the ground. He also told me that during a solar eclipse he saw all these "dabbles" all showing eclipses.

Has anyone heard of this?

the spaces between leaves can act as pinhole cameras. a pinhole camera is a camera without a lens. sunlight passing thru the spaces between leaves can form an image of the sun on the ground.
