Astronomer Dr. Hoople has determined that the Universe began approximately 11 billion years ago. His College, Dr. Whoople disagrees, pointing to a chart which shows that some type M stars have already left the main sequence of a nearby Globular cluster and others are in the process of becoming red giants. What is the reasoning behind Dr. Whoople's objection?

Here's a good picture of a sunspot. See the whirling?

Here another good picture of a sunspot. See how the surface of the Sun is drawn towards the sunspot? Interesting.

Here is what the filaments inside the sunspot wall look like. It's all flowing gas, and many of them twist and have dark lines down the back. We can conclude that they are giant tornadoes, running parallel to the surface, and the dark line down the middle is caused by the vortex in the center.

They dump themselves into the core of the sunspot.

Sometimes they bridge the gap.

Tornadoes running parallel to the surface of the Sun dump themselves into sunspots, which cause perpendicular hurricanes.

I heard this when I was younger but I want to know if there is any truth to this. Ok, two people are twins. one goes to space and stays there for a couple of years. when he returns he finds his twin brother to look older than he (the one who went to space) does. is there any truth to this? can this really happen? God bless you all.

Recently, two terrestrial type planets have been found around type M stars using the method of gravitational lensing. In such system, large terrestrial planets take the place of Jovian planets. If this trend holds up as more such systems are studied, what does this imply for the the number of possible terrestrial planets in the Galaxy?

Science has moved on since the events in the Siberian Tunguska on June 30th 1908 but this story still holds a facination. A Comet fragment makes sense to me but what do you think. Makes you wonder If there are any more Comet fragments out there?

By doing so, would it create an exact duplicate with the copy being destructive while the original was not destructive? Keeping in mind that the ion storm caused a rip in the spacetime fabric allowing the universes access to each other. What if the spacecrafts contained astronauts, what would be the outcome of both sets of astronauts?

The more you research things that have happened, the more you believe I think.
Some experts believe that different alleged crashes are linked to open air nuclear tests. If you believe that it may be faster to travel within a different dimension with the right technology then a nuclear blast may disrupt the boundaries and destabilize any craft in any close proximity.
There are now questions about nuclear blast radioactivity surrounding the alleged asteroid explosion that leveled kilometers of Siberian forests at the beginning of the last century (Tunguska Event). There are also reports that because it took so long for the event to be investigated that only a few survivors from a surrounding town remembered the radiation sickness that killed scores of people and the craft that zip-zagged in the night sky before the explosion. Also Stalin, once the first Atomic Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima (1945) linked the after-effects to what happened in his country in 1908 (alien craft explosion?)
