This depends on the value of the Hubble constant, which is still in doubt. However, the generally accepted age of the Universe is currently ~15 Billion years, give or take a couple of billion.

In simple terms, the Big Bang happened within fractions of a second once all of the elements were in place. It has been estimated that since the Bing Bang, the Universe is approximately 13.75 Billion Years Old. This can change with discoveries from the Hubble Space telescope. You can go to www.nasa.gov and see what NASA has as the latest estimate.

The Age of the universe in equation was 1/H0 (H0 being the Hubble constant) and H0=(72+- 7 km/s) Mpc^-1 .
So the age of the universe according BigBang theory was

tH = 13.6 Gyr = 13.6*10^9 years

But a discovery in 1998 affected that number.
The discovery of an accelerating universe and the calculations showed that the age of the universe is:

t0 = 0.97 tH = 13.2 Gyr = 13.2 *10^9 years

I believe the age of the universe approvixametly doubles every 20 years... cough cough...

seriously ....the big bang does not allow enough time for the microwave backgroung radiation to be as uniform as it is.
The big bang doesnt explain enough of the observed facts

I would not be surprized if the big bang is abandoned in the 21st century. I like Russ HUmphreys theory on Starlight and Time myself where the universe has an edge and is not infinite, the earth is in a gravity well and time runs slower on earth and faster near the edge

so... it depends where you put the clock...perhaps

Big Bands happened mainly in the 1940s but began to die out as the 1950s started and Rock `N` Roll became popular.There are many still in existence e.g The Brian Setzer Orchestra for one but with advances in technology they`ve mostly become obsolete.
