Surely we can imagine territorial disputes, but over important resources or places of strategic import as multiple countries develop space programs-

-the moon
-the 5 Lagrange points sun-earth
-the 5 Lagrange points moon-earth
-other bodies with resources
including:

| orbit state
| mass
| minerals (ice/gold/uranium)

So is their a governing body?
Is there space law?

These places would largely be held by robotic objects rather than persons.

If you had a chance to go aboard the first trip to MARS, would you go? It would be kind of scarey because what if you don't make it back home, it's not like a trip down BAJA MEXICO, tha't for sure.

They say that 2004 XP14 will miss the Earth by the approximate distance from here to the moon. Would this asteroid create some catastrophic effect if it struck the moon?

Are the rocks and dust in the ring stationary or do they orbit the planet? If they do, then aren't they technically satelites or is there a minimum size that an object should be before it could be classified as a satelite? If so, why do we call the small satelites we send to space satelites?

I see so many people who have no idea! our solar system is in a spiral arm of the milkyway galaxy. There are some 200 billion other suns here. There are other galaxies, in fact, as Carl Sagan stated....there are as many galaxies in the universe as there are grains of sand on the Earth! You want to see more galaxies?
