I've heard some say that you're attached to a cord that won't let you go far....so what's the use? I've also heard others say that they go everywhere. Can you go to another country/ continent? Which is right?

Someone please enlighten me about this. Peoples that claim being able to talk to dead peoples or spirits i want to know something. I read somewhere you can only talk to spirits that have yet to go through the light ? Is that right ? I mean are their spirits that choose to remains on that "lower plain of existance" instead of going to the light ? I mean once a spirit go through it, is it no longer possible to communicate with them ?

Is this coincidental or some type of paranormal activity? A few weeks ago, my cat suddenly fell ill. He is an indoor cat. He went missing one night, and I went out to the backyard to look for him. Our pool has been in disrepair for some time and there is no electricity out there. As I was standing in the yard calling his name, the pool light under water pulsated on and off 2 times. The cat was not out there, I found him later in the house. He died the next day. Is that weird or what?? I am a totally normal person..this was very spooky to me!

During this month I have had 5 dreams with my deceased father in them. He's never ever come into my dreams before and this month he randomly did 5 times. I know it's called "dream visitation", but is it really him? Is it him or his spirit? Or is it me just simply dreaming/thinking of him without realizing it?

Not sure if you'd call this paranormal, but here goes...About a month ago I dreamt that I was in a room full of mirrors and then I began to choke myself; like an external force was making me do it. I started to get angry and scared so I woke up. When I awoke, on the ceiling I saw the Hindu god Shiva circling above me - with lotuses in the corners opening and closing. The image covered the whole ceiling; it was in 2 dimensional form and aqua/blue in colour (with shimmering light aswell). It felt as though it was alive. I had to blink a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming it. He stayed up there for awhile, but then disappeared when I started relating my choking dream to him.

*In Hindu religion it is said that Shiva is the auspicious one, god of luck and destruction. He is the strongest of the trinity of gods. (I'm not Hindu by the way - I'm Serbian Orthodox.)

Is there a meaning behind this (or am I just being very delusional)?

Having an issue researching supernatural beings. Since many people refer to things by different names it's made it pretty hard for me to find any information on what I'm looking for, so maybe you can help me? Does anyone know what a tunneller (spelling might be wrong) demon is? How about a shadow fox demon (also known to be called shadow people)? I'm asking because some of my friends decided to screw around with some stuff they had no business messing with (the book of the dead, necronomicon {spelling might be off}) and now they're being haunted by these things.

Doppelgangers are supposed to look exactly like you (that's what I heard) so why would mine be a guy? I saw it when my mom and dad were fighting one day when I was younger (I'm currently 16). I felt like I couldn't move and then I saw myself (as a guy) in the kitchen holding a knife. I actually felt like I was holding one. What does that mean? A male doppelganger? Thanks for reading.

at what point did you find proof there was no spirit? Did you find proof of this somewhere? Or is it your belief that there is no spirit? At last check there is no scientific proof for or against the existance of the spirit or an intelligent creator. I dont want to hear negative proving negative answers. I want to really hear how you came to your conclusion without any proof either way. Because without proof, then what you think becomes a belief. And to have a belief, one must have faith. Outside of a few responders, very few are respectful of those who do believe in spirits and ghosts. Yet you expect us to believe everything we know of came as a result of a big bang that cannot be proven, the "something from nothing theory".

me and my husband awoke one night at the same time because of a white/blue light just above our heads it seemed to have a center . We both had the same reaction of being so tired we could only acknowledge it with a mumble to eachother and then we were asleep again .We both had no fear of it just tremendous need to fall back to sleep . Also I remember i could feel it on my face like if someone had there hand close to your face with your eyes closed. I wondered if anyone ever heard of something similar

Well, I don't intend this as a statement.
However, Belgian and Brit scientist (Liege & Surrey) kinda mapped the parts of the brain which are stimulated by... light. In short and very abruptly put, exposure to blue light makes you smarter (there were already known uses of this frequency in skin diseases treatment) and there already are preoccupations for utilizing blue light emanating electric bulbs in offices etc.

My question is - this stuff is relatively new but it seems to gain territory on the scientific fields. If someone would have talked about it let's say ten years ago, would he have been labeled as... just a fool? I mean, come on... light is just light, how could it have any influence on the brain?

My niece who will be 1 year old in a few weeks will be sitting down or standing or be in someone's arms and will just randomly laugh at thin air. She'll basically be laughing at nothing. Her grandpa is deceased and I can't help but think that it is him because in life he was a goofball. I don't believe in Sylvia Browne either. None of the other babies in my family have done this. Is it paranormal or no?

Have you ever had inspiration for some book or invention, and didn't act upon it. Later you find out that someone wrote the book you wanted to or made the invention that you had sketched out on a napkin? There have been many lawsuits involving people who showed their ideas to famous people and get plagurized.

Mind reading is one thing, but there could be that one percent of the population that is tuned into grabbing all of the best ideas right out of the ether - coincidence or not?

Is the act of thought really a private issue?
