me and my husband awoke one night at the same time because of a white/blue light just above our heads it seemed to have a center . We both had the same reaction of being so tired we could only acknowledge it with a mumble to eachother and then we were asleep again .We both had no fear of it just tremendous need to fall back to sleep . Also I remember i could feel it on my face like if someone had there hand close to your face with your eyes closed. I wondered if anyone ever heard of something similar

It may have been an orb. An orb is a term applied by believers in the paranormal for a light artifact, or dust particle perceived to be a spirit or ghost. The orbs are often said to be blue or white or yellow in color although they may be other colors.

When waking from sleep we are in a very disoriented and impressionable state. Do you think you and your man really saw a white/blue light above your heads or do you think there is a very strong possibility that, due to sleepiness, you're not accurately remembering what really happened?

Try this: Wake someone up and begin speaking gibberish (English, but sentences that make no sense) to them. The reaction is hilarious.

As a child my family and me were sitting in our dining area when a ball of light floated through an open window. No one wanted to touch it and it eventually crawled up a wall and vanished. It may have been the rare natural phenomenon of 'ball lightning' (high energy plasma?) seen on Discovery Channel.

well the fact that you both saw it, would tell me it was really there... and yes alot of people do have experiences while half asleep or just waking or falling off to sleep...so theres always the explanation that it was nothing more than a halluncination.....
but just maybe alot of people experience these things in this state of being totally relaxed that it is easier for something to be noticed,,,, like a veil that seperates us is at its thinnest while in this state....... someone here asked if anyone else had been slapped by something while asleep.. and yes its happened to me once. i was sound asleep when i was suddenly woken up by a hard slap on my head, to let me know someone i had been waiting for was at the door.. i didnt take any notice and went back to sleep... the next morning my auntie who stayed over told me she heard mens voices whispering at the front door.. and i should of got up but i missed him all to gether..... some time later a man told me that he had experienced that as well, he was sound asleep when all of a sudden he was woken by a hard slap to his head only to wake up and find his house on fire with no smoke alarms....thank god he never took notice of the same old explanation, just a hallucination while asleep, take no notice and go back to sleep, mind playing tricks...( thats the mistake i made) gee he would be dead now... we call it thank god for the invisible hand....its the work of an angel.......
ive had experiences in this state of being sleepy then ive had experiences while wide awake sometimes in the day and all experiences were the same...... (maybe i was sleep walking) lol.......

I gotta go with TR on this one. Anytime you have awoke from a dead sleep to have something paranormal happen there is a good chance your having a vivid dream. two people can have the same dream if one makes a suggestion. Just whispering in someones ear will they sleep can change their dreams.I am not saying you didnt have an experience, just giving you my opinion.

My mom experienced this as when my grandad died she saw two lights in the corner of the room but as my grandmother is already dead they must of been showing my mom that their together now in heaven and just visiting her for the last time, the other experience is when i woke up in the middle of the night and i couldn't move there was some kind of force holding me down, i don't know what it was but it freeked me out and then i just fell back to sleep, its as if someone has died and they came back to visit you in your sleep but then again we can't be sure of what it is some say its a ghost orb.

Sounds like one of you had a vivid dream, woke the other one up and shared the dream, then you both fell asleep. Then in the morning when you both woke up, it seemed like you both had the dream. The vast majority of paranormal or "ghost" experiences reported here on Yahoo Answers occurs during the sleeping hours, as yours did.
