Having an issue researching supernatural beings. Since many people refer to things by different names it's made it pretty hard for me to find any information on what I'm looking for, so maybe you can help me? Does anyone know what a tunneller (spelling might be wrong) demon is? How about a shadow fox demon (also known to be called shadow people)? I'm asking because some of my friends decided to screw around with some stuff they had no business messing with (the book of the dead, necronomicon {spelling might be off}) and now they're being haunted by these things.

I have spent the past 25 years researching spiritual warfare and demology, and never have i come upon any spiritual beings listed by these names. May i ask how you came upon these names ?
Usually demons employ names based upon what they are associated with or what they do. They can assume very broad names such as murder, death, hate, and so forth, or very personal names known only to the demon and/or person afflicted.
Based upon this, the tunneler demon is probably associated with the underworld, or realm of the dead (as one would expect when dealing with the Book of the Dead), and the shadow fox demon associated with craftiness or evil cunning.
There is no doubt, however, that your friends are dealing with evil angels or demons. The act of necromancy, or divination by supposed communication with the dead, is an act of rebellion which removes one out from under the protection of the Lord God and places one under the control of satan. The end result is always demonic infestation (hauntings), oppression, and possible possession, with murder and/or suicide a potential outcome.
The only way for your friends to achieve freedom from these horrid beings is an exorcism performed by a true, born-again christian.

You should avoid such things. Also, avoid your friends if they are screwing around with these. Nothing good can come of it.
I am amazed at how people seek power by messing with the occult. It is like attempting to do eye surgery or some other complex task without any understanding of it. Wow, you open a door and something bad comes in! What do we do now!
There are books on the subject, including the traditional spiritual books. You might advise your friends to see what Jesus did when confronting demons. Please don't dismiss this as a "Christian" trick. There really are some good examples in the Bible of what to do in this situation and I recommend you at least keep an open mind about it.

By asking for help to look up supernatural beings, are you requesting information that will provide you with the titles to books on the subject? The energy of demons can be deflected by keeping a positive attitude. I really have no data that can answer your question. I have never seen a demon. I am a RN, and in that venue, I have experienced the presence of the spiritual energy of patients in my care, and have seen the formless amorphous spirit of patients that leave their body at the time of their death, or hover above the person during a surgical procedure. They return to the surgical patient when the level of anesthesia reduces. My suggestion to you is to just discontinue your relationship with these folks. Think good thoughts, do no harm, and find a way to isolate yourself in a place of peace. You'll know it when you find it.

Forgive me, but I'd guess from your question ythat ou're still quite young, perhaps 17 or 18? Your friends *can't* be haunted, it's not possible. Why? Because demons and ghosts and fairies and poultergeists and leprechauns and toys which come alive after dark are all in the category of things which don't really exist. They are just in stories made up for the enjoyment of children and some adults, rather like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and Mickey Mouse and Shrek. So don't worry, and save your time searching the Web - except for fun, that is.

I hope your "friends" aren't messing around with this in your house. I saw in your profile that you have a baby(o young child) in your house..That's your home...you need to keep it clean (no evil stuff). I don't know much about these things. I don't like to even research it...but then I don't want to be ignorant of it either. But just in researching it..you can get paranoid (which I'm sure is what they want...then you look "crazy" and no one will believe you). If you're really serious about this (and not just "messing" with us) then you need someone who knows about these things...more than I do, for sure. I'd be careful about going to a priest...most of them will call you a "kook" and don't know much about spiritual things. (you'd think they would,but they don't) (Do you see any on this site? No.) If you're telling the truth and find a solution for this...hope you come back and share what happened. Good luck.

If you don't know what these things are how can you be even slightly convinced they're bothering your friends? It sounds to me like some kids were playing around and attached so much importance to the event that now they will attach supernatural significance to anything they see, real or imagined. If they hadn't "messed" with necromancy these things would still be happening but they'd find something else to blame them on. This is called confirmation bias.

I can't believe that people play around with stuff like that when they haven't got a clue what they may be opening up. A friend of mine played with raising demons to do something for him and it took a bite out of his hand. He was missing a chunk of meat man! Better get a priest, psychic cleaner or some one to clean up this mess. Just what the world needs, more dumb sh!ts setting lose evil things on the world.

I am very familiar with the blacker than black shadows often called shadow people. the Islam religion calls them Djinns. I just call them Dark Force Entities (DFEs).
They are evil. They are known to shapeshift. The most common forms they take are HUGE shadow spiders, shadow snakes, shadow dogs (Saint Padre Pio reported them in this form). and large shadow cats the size of a tiger.
I have personally seen them take the form of spiders, snakes, and humanoid.
They take on which ever form they think will frighten you the most, then they feed of of your lifeforce energy. The more frightened you become the tastier your energy is to them.
Your friends are in danger, and they need to learn to protect themself.
Suggest they talk to a priest, or suggest they read my blog on Yahoo 360 that deals with psychic protection, and spiritual warfare.

Get proffessional help to sort this out - you could make it worse. See a priest and get thier advise maybe a blessing. Or call in a medium.
