My niece who will be 1 year old in a few weeks will be sitting down or standing or be in someone's arms and will just randomly laugh at thin air. She'll basically be laughing at nothing. Her grandpa is deceased and I can't help but think that it is him because in life he was a goofball. I don't believe in Sylvia Browne either. None of the other babies in my family have done this. Is it paranormal or no?

No, not at all. Just a happy baby. Babies do that. It is normal.

All babies do this at some point. We don't know what is running through their mind at the time but just be glad she is a happy baby and not crying for no reason you can find. I believe angels surround babies to protect them because they are so precious to God, maybe it was her guardian angel making her laugh. Do you believe in miracles? I do not believe in past lives that Sylvia Browne talks about. I believe we only live once but I do believe in God and Angels.

in all honesty you will never know for sure what she is laughing at, nor does anyone else....
many children when they have an imaginary friend it will turn out to be a spirit who plays with them, as quite a few people will remember when they get older, sometimes that spirit will again pop up in later life.....
i have a small collection of paranormal photos with what we call angels,( white light beings) they dont appear as humans with wings but instead they are a big flash of the brightest light almost like lightening...i was lucky to have the experience of seeing one with my eyes one night in 2003, that flew through my window and all through the house.....in many of these photos 9 out of 10 there will be a child sitting on the ground where the light is streaming straight for the child... i feel there is a strong bond between a child and angels....
my little niece who is 8 months old always acts strange around myself and in my room....she just stares at me and smiles.. but she stares for that long but will not do it with anyone else, everyone in my family are quite surprised by it.....she smiles with other people but really stares at me, in my room i have an angel statue of two angels sitting next to each other, one is kissing the other, it sits above my bed... every time she comes into my room she becomes obsessed with the angels and stares at me and them....i cannt say what or why she does it, and we will proberly never know....maybe try and take some photos of when she is laughing at nothing....that thought just came to me then , something i might try myself with my niece, but i hate my photos being taken, but id be interested to see if anything comes up while she sits in my room.......

First of all, I applaud you for not believing in Sylvia Browne.

Secondly, there is absolutely no connection between a child laughing and a deceased person's sense of humor. Children can laugh at anything. Sometimes a child that is learning will *act* like she's laughing just to try it on or because they observed someone else doing it (echolalia).

Nope. Just a happy baby!

My niece is three and she talks about things she could have ZERO way of knowing. That's creepy. She met one of our cousins for the first time (they live on the opposite coast) and she points to my cousins necklace and says, "Grandma!" She walked up to our cousin (a stranger, more or less) and climbed onto her lap, held on to the necklace and said, "Grandma Pearl." Grandma Pearl was actually my great grandmother who died when I was nine.... we hardly ever think about her, much less talk about her... but 18 years after her death, a baby or very young child in the family will pipe up with some strange comment or action. When we ask about it, they say Grandma Pearl told them.

My great neice talks about her grandpa and describes what he looks like in ways she could not have known, he died the same year she was born. She doesn't talk about any other dead relatives, just her grandpa... go figure!

My parents told me I used to sleep with my eyes open until the age of 5yrs. Is that paranormal?

It doesn't necessarily have to be her grandfather, but it could be some benevolent spirit for guardian that is amusing her.
