Real Analysis:

Prove the intrsection interval from n=1 to infinity (0,1/n)=empty. (cant really do the intersection notation)... Notice that this demonstrates that the intervals in the nested interval property must be closed for the conclusion of theorem to hold.

Prove for all n that exist in N (all natural numbers),
0 squared + 1 squared + 2 squared + ... + n squared =
n(n+1)(2n+1) all divided by 6.

I've gotten to the base case, but after that I'm lost on what to do for the inductive step.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

"A skier is pulled up a slope at a constant velocity by a tow bar. The slope is inclined at 25.0º with respect to the horizontal. The force applied to the skier by the tow bar is parallel to the slope. The skier's mass is 55.0 kg, and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the skis and the snow is 0.120. Find the magnitude of the force that the tow bar exerts on the skier."
