What means do they use to determine if plants grew in a certain area thousands of years ago? I know that many settlers brought to Australia roses, geraniums, and lots of trees from their native countrires, because they were homesick and wanted a slice of home. But how do we know some of the flora and fawna didn't exist here prior to the introduction from people immigrating?

So far I have got
t^2 +7t=18
t^2 +7t+7=18+7
(t+_)^2 =25
t+_ +or- square root of 25 ----->t+_ = +or- 5
t=_ +or- 5

t=2 or t=9

This is how far I have gotten so far and I think all of it at the moment is right. I got the t=2 and 9 from a graphing solution but I don't know what numbers go in the _ spots. Any help?

I am trying to prove that two components of motion equal another equation, but I am having trouble solving for the variable of one of them, the equation is

y = -16t^2 + Vsinxt

Where V is equal to a constant, it is supposed to be V-not, but I don't know how to type that. I am supposed to solve for t in the equation. Any help would be appreciated.

I need a summary of the book (beginning, middle, end) for a book report. I didn't read it.

The internet have plot summaries but contains no spoilers. I need to know what happened. Especially at the end.

Anything would help.

Where eta is the viscosity of the fluid, L is the length of the tube, and r is the radius of the tube.

Also, if you can just derive it, that would be awesome.

Thanks!

As in, a good pour would result in all water going into whatever you're pouring into. What I'm talking about is when it runs down the side and then into what you're trying to pour the liquid into.

My 6 yr old son and I bought a $20.00 telescope at our school bookfair, and we have been really geetting into looking at the night sky together. We have only been able to see the moon, because the stand on this telescope is only about 10 inches from the ground. I know I am short, but not that short lol. We are looking for one with a nice stand that will allow us to view planets and stars fairly well. Since this is a new hobby for both of us, I want to stay under $200. I am looking for a type (reflecting or refracting), and possibly a decent affordable brand. Any advise would also be appreciated.
