(7^3) - (5^2)=318
(8^3) - (6^2)=476

i have figured out this bit...

60 116 200 318 476
....56 84 118 158

It is said Lewis Carroll was perplexed by such puzzle.

Cable hangs over frictionless pulley, next to roof on which is nice bottle of Vodka.

Now weight which exactly balances monkey hanging on the other side is attached to a massless cable.

What would happen to the weight if monkey tries to climb up the cable?

Take everything in account, like friction, weight of cable ect.

Here's the question:

f(x)=x^2-5

find (f(x+h)-f(x))/h

I don't understand how to do these complicated ones. The ones we did before were like f(x)=3x+5 find f(-2). Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I live near Detroit Michigan. My husbands family was appalled that I didnt rake my leaves and wasnt planning on it. When I grew up in Indiana, we never raked our leaves. However, my inlaws say, our grass will die if we dont. Anyone from the Detroit area, (Ferndale) know if and when you can rake them into the street?
So honestly, why do I need to rake the leaves?
