When I was in high school (3 yrs ago) we never had any type of explanation of evolution in my science classes. All the stuff I know on evolution, I have learned myself from books, I had to do it all by myself. Is this a common problem in america? I know we are a dumb nation, and this is probably a big part of it. Also, I went to hs in texas, don't know if it differs per region or not.

I can, apart from being able to read cards for people, shuffle a pack of cards and state, in advance, that I will shuffle the card into the 21st position. This happens regularly though sometimes it seems to play with me and ends up in the 21st position but from the end of the pack rather than the start, Often this particukar card leaps out of the pack when shuffling and I have even been to a strangers house, seen a pack of cards and "known" that the jack of diamonds would be the 21st card. This sort of thing happens regularly and I would like to talk to someone who can explain what's going on and WHY.

A few months ago there was news that the moon landing footage (the original film) was lost and there was a huge race against time to find it before something happened (the last camera that could load the film was destroyed... I really can't recall).

What's the current status? Has it since been located?

----
Please no "the moon landing never happened" answers. That's not an answer to my question.

Ok, so this might seem like a stupid question, but I am curious about something.

What is the difference between a 'thunderstorm' and a 'thundershower'? I have often wondered this. They are both things that I have seen forecasted, but I don't know why they are different.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

After my emergency appendectomy, my anesthesiologist said I was very difficult to intubate because of my arthritic cervical spine and slightly recessed mandible. My uvula and posterior pharyngeal wall were quite sore for a day or two. If I need further surgery, how can this be handled?
