Can anybody tell me if Perpetual Motion has ever been achieved? I know under the laws of physics it is impossible BUT I see this law more as a challenge and if proved wrong would be the most amazing discovery in our history.

I have a few ideas on this (no surprise!!) and I dont want to waste time if someone has achieved it. I know an Irish company claim to have!!! But has it ever unofficially been achieved?

This is dealing with Parametric Curves.

You are given the following:

x = ln(t) y = sqrt(t) t >= 1

Eliminate the parameter to find a Cartesian equation of the curve.

I was thinking that you solve for t in the x equation and then plug it into the y equation.

But if thats right, how do you do that? E both sides?

Since 1980 I had about 8 blood tests, in every one of them I had O+ (I have some of the signed results and even I donated blood). In the past month I'd ankle surgery and for five times the blood tests give O- (even they try a "witnessed" test with another sample of blood).

I know this can't be possible and the test is so simple, but all my doctors, my family and I are perplex. I saw several cases in yahoo questions but in every case there are answers explaining cases of test mistakes or even "Chimera".

Well even this is not really a question but maybe you can comment something. Thank you.

During a lecture at the American Museum of Natural History in 1981, prominent evolutionist Dr. Colin Patterson asked his esteemed audience of evolutionists this surprising question. Can you answer it? The only answer he got from the experts was silence. Patterson also tried it on the members of the Evolutionary Morphology seminar in the University of Chicago, a very prestigious body of evolutionists, and all he got there was silence again - for a long time - eventually one honest person said, "I do know one thing--it ought not to be taught in high school."

Cited in: Phillip Johnson, Darwin on Trial (Downers Grove, Illinois: InterVarsity Press, 1991), p. 10. Johnson says in the research notes of his book that Patterson's lecture was not published, but he had reviewed a transcript of it (p. 173). Furthermore, Patterson again stated the same position in an interview with journalist Tom Bethell (Bethell, "Deducing from Materialism," National Review, Aug. 29, 1986, p. 43).
