If you had a hollow sphere that was perfectly reflective on the inside, and completely inescapable (ie, nothing can escape the interior - this being due to a perfect seal, not because of gravity), and you had a means to turn on and off a light source inside the sphere, and you have a way of observing what happens inside the sphere, what happens when you turn on the light, and then turn it off? Is light forever present in the sphere? And what if we make the assumption that none of the light is lost as heat? Does turning on the light source for longer periods of time add "more" light to the inside - how could this quantity be measured?

Why do you absolutely believe there is nothing intellegent outside of Earth that visits us on a regular basis?

Why do you not believe that the energy or spirit lives on after death?

Do you not believe we have a soul?

With the thousands upon thousands of visual contacts of UFO's how can you deny that 100% are not Extraterrestrial craft?

If a UFO landed right in front of you and beings came out that were not human, would you still deny it?

I have to ask because it seems that no matter what happens and no matter what proof is presented you write it off as a hoax or something else.

So my question is this and I have two:

UFO's - Will finding out that there are intellegent beings visiting us damage your belief system or religion?

Ghost's: Will finding out that there is life after death change your life? If you are an athiest does the thought that you could be wrong and have a spirit scare you?

The numerator and the denominator of a certain fraction are consecutive odd numbers. If nine is subtracted from the numerator then the ratio to the numerator to the denominator of the new fraction is two to three. Find the original fraction.

These problems are confusing me so bad... I have like 6 more and I've only been able to do 3 on my own. It really sucks. So I really appreciate it if you could help me in any way.

I have recently plotted out complete plans for a chiming, self-rewinding clock, made entirely out of legos. Now I want a new challenge. Does anybody out there know where I may find schematics of the earlier, larger mechanical calculators? Hence before the Curtas came into popularity. I would like to make it add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and possibly find the scuare root of a number.

What makes "the universe" the universe. If the universe is expanding then what is it expanding out into? What void is there outside, what does it consist of? The area of space outside the universe, is at least a vacumm and must not contain matter then what does it contain?

If there were multiverses then the space(or something else) inbetween them would have to 'exist', but what would it consist of? Is it an area of lesser 3rd, 2nd and 1st demensions, where the 'expansion' of the universe is really just the expansion of time. (This would really then place us in a 5th demension as time is increasing as in clock time and time is increasing as in area affected by time.)

Of course nobody really knows so what are your ideas?
