Do you think Science and Spirituality is contradictory?

According to Indian Culture and spirituality, the whole nature (observing phenomena) is part of the self (observer), and there is no duality between the two (Advaita). Einstein describes that the whole matter is nothing much vibration of energy (e=mc2) - which means everything we see is play and display of the same energy.

Science knows that the base or substratum of matter is energy. Vendanta goes further - it explains the whole matter as vibration in the level of energy , and continues further, to explain that the substratum or base of whole energy is conciousness. This can be compared with the observations of String theory and UFT.

See http://amazedsaint-intutions.blogspot.com for my thoughts. Post your observations on this.

A 0.50 kg uniform bar with a length of 1.00 m has a fulcrum placed 40.0 cm from the left end of the bar. Also located from the left end of the bar are a 1.0 kg mass (m1) at 10.0 cm and a 2.0 kg mass (m2) at the 90.0 cm mark. Mass m2 also posses a charge (q2) of 4C. A charge q3 is placed 20.0 cm below the beam and holds the bar in rotational equilibrium parallel to the ground. Ignoring the polarization effects of the charges on the bar, what is the charge of q3?

I got that Fg=FE so I solved for q1: 8.7*(10^-5)C

But I'm stuck now..please help

I have this lamp on my nightstand that has been unplugged for months because the lightbulb is out. But the light bulb still glows a little, not enough to keep me up at night though. I've moved it around a few times to make sure that it isn't just light reflecting onto it, but it still glows! Do you have an explanation for this?

Factor completely:
x7y2 – 4x5y2 – 21x3y2 (ALL THE NUMBERS EXCEPT FOR 4 AND 21 ARE EXPONENTS..sorry the computer would not let me type superscript)

Factor completely:
x3 – 2x2 – 4x – 8
(all numbers except for 2 and 4 and 8 are exponents... the first 2 is a coefficent, the second is the superscript)

Factor completely:
2x2 – 18y2

(2 and 18 are the only things not exponents)

THANKS IN ADVANCE!! I DONT GET THIS FACTORING THING!
