Given: Atmospheric pressure is 101300 Pa. The density of water is 1000 kg/m^3. The viscosity of water is negligible.
Water flows at speed of 4.3 m/s through a horizontal pipe of diameter 3.4cm. The gauge pressure P1 of the water in the pipe is 1.8 atm. A short segment of the pipe is constricted to a smaller diameter of 2 cm.

What is the gauge pressure of the water flowing through the constricted segment? Answer in units of atm.

Whoever figures this question out first will get the best answer. Thanks!

By car I mean a rolling science project about the size of a shoebox or smaller. It is going to be powered by a small 9 Volt motor, which will rotate the wheel axle. I assume that the wheel size will not affect the RMP of the mini-motor, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Scientific answers or helpful equations would be greatly appreciated.
