This is in a vacuum: whenever light travels through matter, it goes slower.

Just out of curiosity, How did you get all the way to Yahoo Answers Level 3 without being able to look-up that kind of information yourself?
Or is this a trick question? Intended to see how many people would answer, how accurate, and how fast?
It seems simple to look up, so, what's up with that?
