Astronomers today are able to detect CMB radiation on earth using COBE satelites. Some of the CMB radiation detected from way back during the origin of space and time, just after The Big Bang almost 13.7 billion years ago. I mean that was way back in time, earth wasnt even born yet. How is it possible for radiation which was created 13.7 billion still be in existence today for human to detect and measure them ? On the same note, can astronomer / scientist detect light from let say 10 billion years ago ?

I love chemistry and I'm very good at it, but the highschool in my town sucks big time so we're never allowed to do experiments in the lab and I was wondering if there's anything I could try for myself. I'm studyiing organic chemistry so I'd prefere something in that area.

and was told by the doctor yesterday that it will be the cause of my death. I am 36 with a 4 year old son. Single mum too. It is a matter of when I was told. It was made clear to me I will die before I am 40 if I do not give up smoking. So, IT MUST BE DONE! I do not drink and although I do suffer with chest complaints and always have from aged 14, was wondering what other lifestyle changes I can make? My son needs his Mum and I love my life...I have noo desire for it to end! But I was in so much shock yesterday when I saw the doctor, I did not take in all he said. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN...Thanks..x

Suppose a uniform electric field of magnitude 115.0 N/C exists in a region of space. How far apart are a pair of equipotential surfaces whose potentials differ by 2.0 V?

I know 115.0 N/C is the same as 115.0 V/m and it seems i should just divide it by 2.0 V 2 / 115 = .017 m but this isn't correct

Any suggestions??

the simple cell has been found to have thousends of smaller cells in the "single cell". so how could we come from a single cell if the single cell has thousends of other cells each within another? infact its like pie. the number never stops. so if we cam from single cells wear did these other cells come from that are in a single cell? wear did space come from? how can dust make an earth by gravitational pull, when yet we would be having countinuing bangs and such. how is evalution possible? The big crunch is only theorized, of course as they don't know for sure if there's enough mass in the universe to overcome the momentum of the big bang. However, supposing there is, would the universe ever condense back to that infintesimal volume again? Black holes form with considerably less mass than there is in the universe.
