Id like to know the averge size difference. it might be such a difference that what we see in our univers and compar it to the atomic level, ends up being like the history of our univers happening in ten seconds at the atomic level.

What a friend I have in Algebrand These rainy days in Swindon wouldn't be the same without him. The other day, Algebrand told me that if ants were the size of humans they could carry a 40-story skyscraper in their mandibles

Well, as you can imagine, Algebrand and I were as happy as a pair of boy scouts on a 60's Hiberian, orienteering expedition. How amusing it was to imagine our 40-story block of flats being plonked right in the middle of the Lake District, by a man-sized ant.

What a fantastic view! What a spectacle!

If this had been the end of the story I would have said no more but, just as we were finishing our Chamomile tea, we spotted a colony of man-sized, army ants swarming across the Swindon downs, and heading straight for us! Before we knew it, the entire town had been transported away and dumped into the North sea. Would you credit it! Who would have thought that ants were not only incredibly strong, but also had such exceedingly good taste.

I've been struggling with calculus all of a sudden, and for some odd reason while trying to find the limit of x - ln x as x approaches infinity, i know that its an indeterminant form of infinity - infinity, but i can't seem to go on any further because there's no denominator. my teacher keeps on saying about limits inside a limit, but for some reason I can't see it. Please help! thanks

I just had a simple question my professor used the substition rule to prove squareroot(16-r^2). Would it have been easier to simpilfy root(16) and then solve? So, it would be 4-r.

Thank you very much!!!!

we know that
integral from b to a of f = - integral from a to b of f (1), where a But definite integral is defined as in RHS(right hand side).
Now LHS can appear, when we do substitutions of varibles, and we can switch using formula (1) to RHS form of integral.
So LHS doesn't have sense ouside of formula (1), in other words is defined by (1).
Or is there something else?
