I smelled some very strange and ghostly, almost caustic odors. Mildly sulfur-like. I could hardly breathe. This was in my living room. Nothing unusual happened before that, I just fed my dog a can of chili and a few hard-boiled eggs cuz i was out of dog food.

I'm trying to figure this out (Geometry, by the way) and don't really know what they're asking for. It says "Solve each proportion by using cross products." and the problem is 5/n+3 = 7/4 (5 over n+3 is equal to 7 over 4)...answers anybody??

I have relatives who love to hunt. I think its not right but they went last night duck hunting and with the dead ducks they brought one that is still alive, just with a hurt wing. It has like a bullet wound and it may be broken. its bleeding, but not badly. Its either I cure it or they kill it. Can someone tell me what can I do?

I have a TI 30 and a TI-89. The TI-30 does logs, ln, exponentials, sin, cos, and tan. My instructor informed me that I can not use the TI-89 on tests. I am thinking of spending the $120-ish for the second calculator, but I'm not sure. The first test is this week. If it raised my test scores (plural), like 3-5% it would be worth it. I'm not at all familiar with it; what important (every day) functions does the ti-84 do that the more basic TI-30 does not? Incidently this is Calc 1 and I still need to go through Calc 3.

I pretty much have the derivitives down, its just when I get to the cleaning up I have trouble. can someone show me how to clean these two up? Ill also give you the original problem.

1. f(x)= [x^4 + (1/x) ]^5
f'(x)= 5(x^4 + (1/x))^4 * (4x^3 + (-1/x^2))

2. f(x) = sin (cube root of x) + (cube root of sin x)
::Hope I wrote that ok::
f'(x) = cos (x)^(1/3) * (1/3)x^(-2/3) + (1/3)(sin x)^(-3/3) * cos x

im not too sure if that ones right or not... now that i look at it.. lol... I know that you cant have negative exponents, so some of that stuff means its in the denominator and is a square root or cube root or whatever too...

Been staring at this for ages and can't see how to do it any help appreciated thanks.

x = (m.s.e^(c.t))/(s - m+ m.e^(ct))

Simplified to
x = s.m/(m+(s - m).e^(ct))

Where all are constants except x and t. Thanks again sorry it messy (if it wasn't I would probably be able to do it, then again....)
