Franklin can do a job in 6 hours and Michael Hodges can do it in 4 hours. What part of the job can they do if they work together for y hours?

I think the first part is set up as 1/6 for franklin and 1/4 for michael then I think you are supposed to add them but from there I am lost.

Thank you for the help in advance!

This is the typical Physics problem with the wire and boom connected to a wall with a mass hanging on the end of the wire.

Does the tension in the wire increase or decrease when the wire is connected higher on the wall (meaning the angle between the wire and the boom increases).

Since everyone doesn't have the same opinions on what nice vs. bad weather is, or what types of weather they like or dislike, I'm surveying to see what range of answers I get. Please explain why you like or don't like certain types. For example, if you say you like sunshine, tell me why. If you dislike sunshine, again, tell me why.

people who believe in biorhythms claim that there three cycles that rule our behavior- the physical, emotional, and mental. Each is a sine function of a certain period. the function for our emotional fluctuations is:
E=Sin pi over 14 (x)
where x is measured in days starting at birth.

Emotional Fluctuations, E are measured from -1 to 1, inclusive, with
1 representing peak emotional well-being,
-1 representing the low for emotional well-being
0 representing feeling neither emotionally high nor low.
A. sketch a graph of this function.
B. find E corresponding to x=7,14,21, and 35.
Describe what you observe
C. what is the period of the emotional cycle ??????

Ok in bio lab we had to heat up water at different temps...
then we put a test tube filled with yeast in the water.... Then we trapped the oxygen in the tube and seen how much the thermometer moved up or down.
When the water was warmer the scale went up and when it was cooler the scale moved down. I guess my question is what actucally happened ???

Your'e in a cement block room with a solid door at each end. One door has a bomb attached to it and one does not but you don't know which has the bomb. There are 2 computers in the room. One only lies, the other only tells the truth. You can only ask 1 question (the same question) to each computer. How do you get out? I don't have the answer yet.
