i m not trying to get help with my math homework here but i m holding a small math contest here. the reward is 10 points for the correct answers but all the answers for the questions must me correct. so here it is:
1. For what value of n does (2^2007 - 2^2006)(2^1997 - 2^1996) = 2^n?
2. For any integer k>1, k! is the product of every integer from 1 to k. Thus, 3! = 1 x 2 x 3. Write the only integer n > 32 that satisfies
(n-23)!(23)! = (n-32)!(32)
3. If r1, r2, r3, r4 are the roots of x^4 - 4x^2 + 2 = 0, what is the value of (1 + r2)(1 + r2)(1 + r3)(1 + r4)?
Thats it! Only 3 questions and the first person to answer these questions correctly would be the winner. Good Luck!
