Hour hand went 15 degrees

For the minute hand, it moves through 180 degrees (i.e. going from 12 to 6, or from 3 to 9, they are direct opposites).

The hour hand is a bit trickier, but not much.

There are 12 intervals through 360 degrees. Each one is thus 30 degrees (i.e. going from 3 to 4).

Going half of that is 15.

So the answers are 180 and 15 degrees, respectively.

Hope that helps!

In a full hour it will go around once, which is a circle of 360 degrees. So in 1/2 hour it goes 360/2 = 180.
