I need help with writing equations from patterns. I can do it when there is a common pattern and ratio but I don't know how to write equations for ones that don't. Could you please tell me the equations for the following patterns and then explain how you arrived at the answers?

O ) -->> what if the rope is long enough to drop down to earth from a shuttle in orbit.

Can the rope be held in mid air just like magic or will the rope pull the shuttle down.

Im Not a terrorist and dont intend on using the nitrate for a bomb but I intend on using it as a propellant. Dont lecture me on the laws I know trust me. Does anyone know how to purify it. I know you can purify KNO3 by recrystalization. The source i have is ammonium nitrate fertilizer which is 30-0-0. I know it burns because i sloshed some on the fire and it made it flare up.
