I mean the hole starting just anywhere on the surface and ending exactly on the opposite side of the Earth planet. See what I mean? I know it's impossible but at least in theory how will he fall? What if the hole wouldn't cross the center of the earth but only will be made somewhere on the edge?

Okay, my friend and I were trying to figure this out. She says that "-x squared" is negative x and taking the square of it (looks like this (-x) squared.) However, I do not agree...I think it is x squared and then you take the negative of it. (Looks like this: -(x)squared) I think it is based on order of operations. (you know PEMDAS) She thinks I am very wrong. We are working with parabolas so please help me out. Thanks a bunch!

For some time now I have alwasys been pondering on things that may never be answered. What is life? What do we "see"? What happens when we die? We "see" through our eyes yet not "see" through other peoples eyes. Its all to weird for me to explain it all. What if the world is gone, what will happen if there is no such thing as orginisms left in the "universe". And one more thing, What is the "universe"?
