i just went to the vet today and found out that my turtle has an infection. i need to give it a pill but i don't know how to give it to him. if someone could answer this i would b very thankful

Uh, I'm wondering about the knowledge that your vet has about turtles. Sounds like he doesn't have much turtle experience. Vets usually give turtles with infections injectable antibiotics in the muscles or under the skin around the front legs. They can show you how to do this if they know what their doing. I'd look for another vet with more turtle experience. This advice is coming from someone who has been rehabbing ill and injured turtles for 8 years. I suggest you see see the website below for proper care information. Turtles kept properly rarely get sick.

Hi... I'm a turtle expert... to give a turtle a pill, crush it into small pieces and put it in the turtles food supply.

Mix it with raw hamburger.
