There is a triangle ABC with base BC. The side BA is extended to D and the side BC is extended to E such that AE bisects angleCAD. Find the length of CE, is AB = 10cm, BC = 12cm and AC = 6cm.

I know it has something to do with similarity of triangles but I don't know the method to get the answer. Please help ASAP.

Ok so i know there was a huge disoute betwwen these two mathematicians, but i need someone to explain to me what really happened (e.d, info in the dispute over the origins of Calculus) and the effects on mathematics in Europe and England.

Also if you could provide some info on the different notation these mathematicians used, that would be great!! (please write your source if you find anything in the web)

im posting this question because i want to see if anybody else here have witnessed a ufo before. When i was in elementary school i think in 4th or 5th grade? i was walking home with my mom, it was like at 6 at night and it was dark, anyways i saw above me a HUGE plate craft hovering in the sky above me. there lights on the spaceship, little red dotted lights around it. i was watching it then slowly it disappeared.

this probably will sound fictional to some people but frankly it is not. why would i lie to you guys? i dont know you and you dont know me and i have no reason what so ever to trick you and plus i have nothing to gain. i kinda dont believe this myself but i really witnessed this and i was wondering if anybody else has???

My mom has recently been diagnosed with very high blood pressure. She has been on Toprol XL -- didn't work. she was on Lisinopril -- didn't work. The ONLY thing that brings it down is Clonidine -- 0.1mg 4X a day (it doesn't last long once ingested). If she goes much over 4 hours between doses, it begins to creep up to and over 200/85-95.

the Clonidine makes her feel completely draggy and "loopy." She just has no energy and feels like she can't think or remember things.

I'm real concerned about her. The doctor tells us we should start seeing some much better numbers in the next 2 weeks and that the fatigue and fogginess should also wear off by then as well.

Can anyone offer any advice or comments? Are all of the above symptoms normal when starting BP meds?

Thanks!

magnetic flux doesnt make any sense to me,wat is exactly magnetic flux? some says it is the magnetic field strength times surface area that is proportional to the magnetic field. some says it is a property that takes magnetic field and extent of field into account. when i was doing questions, flux always appears, but i dont understand wat it really is.
