Ok, I'm lost on this section. This is an unassigned HW question I think would help me to figure out if I could see how to do this the question is to find a general form for x'-y^2=2x and then to show it is really the answer.
I can't figure this out, any help?

I need to know how to do this. I'm going to be tested on this material.

Here is the problem:

Copper(II) chloride and lead(II) nitrate react in aqueous solutions by double replacement. Write thechemical balanced equation, the overall ionic equation, and the net ionic equation for this reaction. If 13.45 g of copper(II) chloride react, what is the maximum amount of precipitate that could be formed?

I want to let everyone that any help you can give me is really good.

Does anybody knows where to buy a star? I really want to buy a star for someone( which is me ). I know how: first you will recieve a form, then you fill it out. After that, you send it in and pay by something or to someone or somewhere. Then you get to name it and they tell you where it is located. See! It seems so cool. And could you tell me about how much it costs to buy a star, too!? :)

I have a few ideas. They're probably wrong but here goes.

1) Maybe because animals lived so long back then and maybe if we lived 900 years like Adam we would be huge, too.

2) Maybe because there was more oxygen in the air back then.

3) Maybe living things just grew bigger before the asteroid hit that killed them off. After it hit it changed the molecule structure of things so they began to grow smaller.

4) Maybe they had so much space to roam, kind a like fish grow large in a large fish tank and stay small in a smaller one.

What are some opinions on this?? Any other ideas?

a. mercury(II) chloride (aq) + potassium sulfide (aq) ----->
b. sodium carbonate (aq) + calcium chloride (aq) ----->
c. copper(II) chloride (aq) + ammonium phosphate (aq) ----->
