A 2000 kg car accelerates from rest under the actions of two forces. One is a forward force of 1140N provided by traction between the wheels and the road. The other is a 950N resistive force due to various frictional forces. Use the work-kinetic energy theorem to determine how far the car must travel for it's speed to reach 2.0m/s.

How do I prove that:
if A, B, and C are non-empty sets,
A [is contained by] B [is contained by] C,
and the cardinality of A = the cardinality of C,

the cardinality of A = the cardinality of B

I can't figure out how to start this one.

"Knowing that each variable is a unique, single-digit, nonzero number, and that C - B = 1, and H - G = 3, what is the number ABCDEFGHJ, where each letter is a digit? For example, if A = 4, B = 2, and C = 7, ABC would equal 427."

That's the problem, but I need some help getting started, I haven't done this type of problem in a while. Can anyone help?

Why not just tell the person how to figure it out instead of giving the answer? It doesn't help anyone if they don't actually learn anything.
