I don't have one of those fancy calculators,they're not worth the money,but I kinda need answers for this kind of problems from time to time so if you know any program for the computer that can calculate that I'll be thankful for life.

*the windows clculator doesn't calculate stuff like this,at least mine doesn't,if it would I wouldn't have to ask this:D

Without brackets your expression is confusing. Use brackets. Use '^' for 'to the power of': so "x^2" means "x squared". There are many possible meanings, that's why no one is able to help! Do you mean: Find the value of x such that sqrt( 5 ) x^2 - 405 x = 9 sec( theta ), or sqrt( 5x^2 - 405) x = 9 sec( theta ), or sqrt( 5x^2 - 405 x ) = 9 sec(theta) ?

Is there a calculator on your computer? Usually in the accessories folder (start--> programs--> accessories--> calculator)

it is 6.364 thats rounded off to the thousandths place

all you need is a scientific calculator....if you are still studying...you need it anyway in later grades...

anyway...the answer is 6.36396.....
