During the a Sunday, I saw a straight line at an angle of 10 and 4 o'clock standing still sort of glitterring really hight in the sky. It seemed like a piece of metal glitterring from the Sun hitting it as it shook a bit. Then, apparently, it tilted forming a triangle shap which no longer glittered; it was just a bright light, where I could kind of make out three dots, one on each point of the triangle. I kind of could see solid lines connecting the dots, but not if the center was hollow. It seemed to rotate about three times, taking the form of a striaght line, and a triangle. Then, in the form of the straight angled line it started moving. I looked down 2 the street to see if anyone was looking up at it 4 about 3 secounds. No one was looking at it; but when I looked at it again there were only two round lights very far away from each other in the sky moving where it was and in the same direction. I searched the sky for a third light or anything else, but nothing. Helecupters?

She investigates the rate of change of the area of the ellipse as a increases at 7mm/s and b decreases at 11 mm/s.
1. Assuming that a and b change smoothly, write the known rate and the wanted rate as derivatives.
2. Annie recalls that the the area of an ellipse is A=(pie- i cant type the symbol)times ab. use this relationship among the variables to get an equation for the wanted rate.
3. Annie sets the animation in motion. when a = 30 and b = 50 will the area be increasing or decreasing? at what rate?
4. Annie resets the animation and starts it in motion again. When a =40 and b=20, will the area be ingreasing or decreasing? At what rate?

Please disregard Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons. What is the fastest velocity in Miles Per Hour that man has accelerated an object to thus far. An object is considered to be something like a
bullet, a jet plane, a space ship, a satellite, a space probe, etc.

I am asking this question in light of the many questions on Yahoo Answers concerning possible time travel and the need to go faster than 186,000 miles / second. I don't think we are anywhere close to man made velocities in that range. Can you provide any specifics?
