Alright, so I am a little panicked about the special I saw on History Channel last night "Mega Disasters" about Mr. Rainier erupting. I am almost in the path of the mudslide that would ensue. I want to prepare for this event, should it happen while I live here. I am thinking of items I should purchase that will help me and my girl survive. Here is what I have so far:

Gas Masks / Extra filters
Wet weather gear
Food (MRE's) & Water
Waterproof matches/fire starters
Tent / Poncho's / Tarps
Small inflatable raft

Can you think of anything else that would be usefull?

IN TWO BROILER PARENT BREEDING FLOCKS,THE FOLLOWING SELECTION PROGRAMMES WERE UNDERTAKEN:500 HENS AND 500 COCKS IN FLOCK A AND 1000 HENS AND 1000 COCKS IN FLOCK B WERE MEASURED FOR 8WEEKS BODY WEIGHT.UNDER NORMAL MATING,THE RECOMMENDED SEX RATIO IS 1 COCK TO 10 HENS.IN FLOCK A 10 TOP COCKS AND 100 TOP HENS WHILE IN FLOCK B,THE TOP 25 COCKS AND250 TOP HENS WERE SELECTED ON MERIT AS PARENTS TO PRODUCE THE NEXT GENERATION OF PROGENY.GIVEN THAT THE HERITABILITY OF 8-WEEK BODY WEIGHT IS 0.4 WITH A PHYNOTYPIC STANDARD DEVIATION OF 100 GRAMS,PREDICT THE GENETIC GAIN IN 8- WEEK BODY WEIGHT IN GRAM PER GENERATION IN THE TWO FLOCKS. IF IT IS ASSUMED THAT THE CHICKS WERE HATCHED WHEN THE HENS WERE 30 WEEKS OLD AND THE COCKS WERE 36 WEEKS OLD,WHAT IS THE EXPECTED RATE OF GENETIC GAIN IN BODY WEIGHT IN EACH FLOCK?
